Casa Mila, on the windiest day in Barcelona
Today we ventured out to Diagonal to go to Casa Mila. The rooftop terrace is the most stunning part of the building. Its undulating surfaces give you so many interesting views of the city. The wind almost blew us off the roof, but it just made it that much more exciting. Here are a few pictures from the roof.
And here are a few of the exterior and the courtyards:

Day 1 - no sleep and amazement
Well, we survived the turbulant flight and full cab van-ride. We moved into our stellar apartment and are safe and sound. Roommate bonding has commenced. This is where it is - Plaza Universidad.
Things I have learned today:
1. The mullet is very much alive in barcelona (PUNCH-MULLET, no punch back)
2. Groceries are cheap, very cheap. But you have to pay for plastic bags.
3. Barcelona is gorgeous, in a very unique way.
